In 2018, an opportunity to work on a TV show came my way.  The prospect of a new challenge was exciting and I was keen to work as part of team and wanted to learn more about interiors in a different context. Having worked as an Interiors and Props Stylist has given me an extensive range of transferable skills that I have been able to utilise with my move over into the film industry. The bigger projects allow you to explore a vaster array of furniture and fabrics and to dig deeper into the relationship between items to create appropriate sets. It’s great to work on projects with teams of incredibly creative and capable people.

An unexpected bonus of changing industry has been the avenue of working as a researcher. Exploring a myriad of different subjects, both academically and visually, has meant a rediscovery of my enjoyment of learning and been an exciting development to my career.
